useful August 19, 2010 padawan (baltimore, md, usa) this is a good purchase for those of us who travel often and are terrible at calculating the weight of our bags. it surely can save you a lot of hassle to pack within the airline's weight limits!
the scale is fairly small and light, easy to use, and has big enough numbers... its only shortcomings are the fact that you have to lift the bag with just one hand to weight it (which can be hard with very heavy bags) and that the battery in mine was almost dead when i received it, so it was pretty much useless until i replaced it. all in all, i definitely recommend it.
Not for heavy suitcases. August 17, 2010 Yaimi This luggage scale doesn't work if you want to weigh a luggage that is about 50 pounds. The instructions says you have to use one hand and place the luggage on the side. It's not very easy trying to lift a heavy suitcase with only one hand for 10 seconds. Even an strong person will have difficulties with this scale. Didn't work for me.
Execellent Product August 14, 2010 mrsb I am very pleased with this product. It is reasonably priced, really handy, very easy to use and, most important, accurate.
Great little tool, easy to use and small August 13, 2010 Hpu2000 (North Carolina United States) I love to travel, but am not too great at packing light. This little gadget will safe you stress well worth the price tag. No more scrambling at the airport and switching things around in bags to not go over the 50 pound limit. It's pretty small and extremely easy to use. Just make sure you have it on pounds and not kilograms : )
A Life (and overweight fee) Saver August 12, 2010 L.I. Crab (Long Island) I just used this luggage scale for 2 check in bags at the airport. Each bag seperately was just a hair under 50 pounds according to the Taylor hand held scale. Putting both bags on the airline platform scale, the total weight of both bags was 98 pounds. This scale is extremely accurate, unbelievably light weight, and so easy to use. I would highly recommend this to anyone like me who loves to travel and pack the daylights out of their suitcases. It would also make a wonderful gift.
