Produces highly accurate and repeatable measurements. Is well made and sturdy, heavy enough to stay in place. Pan can be removed for washing. Can be switched from pounds and ounces to kilograms at the push of a button.
Has a hold button which will freeze the display, but it is not particularly useful because the scale turns itself off too quickly. By the time one has put the babe down and given him a toy, the reading will be lost.

I purchased this scale to weigh one of my cats that has some health issues. I love the hold function and that the denomination goes to the 1/2 oz. For fun and to test its accuracy we weighed flour and sugar in different amounts. Every reading was exactly as it was suppose to be! Because of the curvature of the scale's "bowl", two of my cats like to curl up on it for afternoon naps. Easy to use and great for the price!

When we converted a spare room into a kitty foster room, a baby scale was at the top of the list of things I would need. Since we keep the kittens until they are big enough to be spayed/neutered, I wanted something more accurate than just weighing myself with and without a kitten in my arms. This scale is exactly what I needed. I like the feature of setting it to disregard the weight of a towel. The only thing I would change is that the display doesn't actually show a zero directly after the decimal point. When it read 2. 1, I though it was 2.1 instead of 2.01. When monitoring very low weights, that is a meaningful difference. And I like that it is small enough to store in a drawer when not being used.

This scale is such a relief and gives me peace of mind. I bought it to monitor my two cats' weight. It is accurate and I appreciate having it so much. It's my new toy. I've had it about a month. I weigh the cats all the time and spend several minutes with my husband weighing everything we could think of to test its accuracy. It's accurate. The cats don't mind sitting in the tray for me. It's easy to use and quick and accurate. Worth the money.

The scale was purchased for use during a weight reduction program that our vet has our six year old 19 lb Snuffy tolerating. He, like most of us who are trying to lose weight, is not liking his weigh in time. It is sturdy and doesn't tip over easily so it would be great for a non-furry user. Without having the scale it would mean that I would have to take Snuffy to the vet every week..no charge,but the scale keeps me motivated seeing his weight going down! The display is a nice size and the platform is well shaped.
