After reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to buy this scale as a gift for my sister. The scale looks nice, but it is only accurate to +/- 2 pounds, which isn't good enough for me. I would recommend looking for another scale.

We had this for a couple of months now and I am pretty happy with it. I am ball-parking the accuracy to about 1/2 a lb using a professional scale at the gym for benchmark. I cannot imagine needing more accuracy than that for normal use. Incidentally, I have lost 40lbs in 12 months and I am keeping it off thanks in part to this scale so I know when I had a bad week and I did not eat right. It is somewhat annoying that you have to tap first and then step in when compared to a mechanical one but the cost and the accuracy more than make up for it. This model is also a lot faster than the competition. It may cost $10 or so more than other digital units out there but it is worth it.

This scale featured everything I wanted, simplicity to work, easy cleaning and large numbers to read. It stays calibrated and looks good in any decor. I would recommend this scale to anyone that wanted a scale that is easy to read.

This is a very heavy and sleek looking scale. The numbers are large. It seems big enough to hold anyone. I had no problem getting it to work and it seems quite accurate and precise. It measures closer to my doctors scale and is more accurate than my plastic digital scale i paid just as much for. The only problem is, it measures you once and reads out, so you have to get off and stand on it several times to make sure you are getting a precise reading. I wish they would make digital scales that show the fluctuations when you move around like dial scales do. If you know of one, please tell me.

I am nearing the end of major weight loss and was dismayed when my faithful mechanical Health o Meter scale suddenly died. I ordered the Taylor 7506 Precision Tech Lithium-Battery Electronic Glass/Chrome Scale from Amazon; and just as some of the reviews said, it almost immediately got stuck on one weight and wouldn't budge. I should have stayed with Health o Meter as my old scale had lasted around 12 to 15 years. My new Health o Meter is great--consistent, accurate, simple. I highly recommend it.
