Product Description The Hampton is an electric freestanding unit. This NEW unique design of Towel Warmer, incorporates large heated Flat Panels instead of the traditional ladder or zig-zag style tubing, creating superior heating performance. Keeps your towels dry and warm all year long. This will help turn your ordinary bathroom into the ultimate luxury/spa experience. It's designed to run continuously 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. It's Filatherm dry element is reliable and energy efficient, using less power than your average lightbulb. Great for year-round use! Really helps draw moisture away during the hot & humid months. Keeps your towels from smelling musty. Also helps eliminate mold and mildew growth. Quicker heat up time, more effective drying and no worrying about oils/liquids leaking from the unit. Great for drying delicates, hand washables, swimsuits and warming baby blankets and bedding. Product reaches optimum temperature within 30-40 minutes, but you need a good 2-3 hours for the heat to build up in the fibers of the towels. Recommend leaving towels on rack overnight before initial use. Make sure to layer your towels (do not weave throughout the bars). Remember this is a low energy device; your towels will be warm, dry and fresh for each use (towels will not be hot like coming out of a tumble dryer). Dimensions 22 1/4" W x 14" D x 35 3/8" H. UL & CUL Listed. Minimal assembly required.

who came up with brass? May 28, 2010 Glenna Auxier (Gainesville, florida, US) I have one of these towel warmers in chrome and I love it. True the towel is not hot like at a spa but it is warm and feels great on a cool day or most any time. It also dries the towels out well in the summer. I would love tohave another one but they only are available in brass, What percent of bathrooms have brass fixtures? What idiot came up with the idea that brass would look good in a bathroom that is almost always chrome? The Alexandra version is too wide to fit in the space I have available. Too Bad.

Sleek & toasty November 17, 2009 pasteve (Port Angeles, WA USA) Due to a recent price increase on Amazon I ordered 2 of these puppies, one for myself & 1 for a wedding gift, about 2 weeks ago. Cost was $104 each including free shipping from a wholesale outlet located in CA. There is some minor assembly required & I had to send one of the units back due to a defective plastic sleeve that connects one of the legs to the post. As prior reviewers have pointed out you will need to keep the unit on for several hours & have 2 towels, one laying on top of the other at all times. The inner towel is toasty while the outer gets warm but not as much so. The unit is stylish looking & can be easily connected to a 15A 120V digital timer as it doesn't have to stay on 24 hours a day. To be on the safe size set your timer at least 3 hours before you'll need the towel & leave on awhile in order to dry the wet towel. However you'll need to experiment to find your best length of time to keep the timer on & off. The unit does emit a scent which goes away after a few days of use. All in all a terrific buy & highly recommended!
It's been about 3 months since my initial review & I don't know how I managed before installing this warmer so I'm raising it to 5 stars from 4! I'm now spoiled & shiver to think about my next trip will be without a warm toasty towel to greet me after my showers!
Disappointed July 24, 2009 Lisa R. Stine (All over the place) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was really disappointed when this showed up. It is very cheap looking. I've seen brass warmers before and this is not brass but rather an inexpensive metal with a light dusting of brass color. In some places it was scratched off. One of the legs has pot marks where the coating is not on too well. Further the end caps are plastic and the manufacture clearly tightened one too tight and damaged the plastic. I'm going to see if they will send me another one of these. I don't expect this warmer to last forever because of its poor quality. However, on the plus side, it is heating the towels and the on off switch is easy to access. The cord is a decent length. If it weren't a hassle to return it, I'd do it. I don't recommend and only gave two stars because it heats the towels.
